The ‘SRC’11’ Conference
The Sixth Annual European Security Research Conference (SRC’11).
The goal of the Security Research Conference 2011 was to organize a two-day conference on R&D in the area of public safety and a one-day Broker Meeting in Warsaw. The conference is one of the largest event of this type in Europe, the organization of which is commissioned to the country currently leading the EU’s Council. The series of annual conferences is intended to disseminate information, share experiences but also create opportunities for establishment of partner consortia interested in research done as part of the EU’s Seventh Framework Program for research on public safety.
The sixth SRC conference held in Warsaw discussed legal, technological and organizational solutions serving to assurance of homeland safety. The conference was paralleled by a scientific and industrial exhibition, presentation of posters and demonstration of results of selected national and international R&D programs.
