The ‘RUSOS’ (Erasmus+) Project
Robotics for teachers of secondary vocational schools (RUSOS).
Project purposes:
The ‘RUSOS’ Project will develop interactive educational material for industrial and commercial robotics, designed for teachers of technical subjects in secondary vocational schools and will launch an educational platform enabling participation in training courses, controlled access to study materials, tracking and evaluation of progress, and functionality for communication between students and teachers for the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience.
Apart of the teachers, the beneficiaries of the project include vocational and other school students, employees with exposure to advanced technologies and anyone interested in robotics and robotisation.
The main activities of the project will focus on development of relations between schools and companies, identification of requirements an expectations of companies towards newly employed personnel or graduates of secondary vocational schools, and on support for development of competences and knowledge in teachers of vocational subjects related to robotics, by provision of training, advice and consultation. These requirements will be served by innovative tools developed by the project to support education of secondary school vocational subject teachers in the field of robotics, including the Web portal with an e-learning course and a package of educational material.
The main deliverable of the project will consist of the dedicated Web portal with the e-learning course and the package of educational material on industrial and commercial robotics. In addition, the system will provide access to a virtual laboratory equipped with 3D models of robots and automated work stations.
