The ‘MUSICODE’ Project
Unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) stand-off multi-sensor platform for improvised explosive device (IED) component detection (MUSICODE).
The goal of the project is to develop new ways of remote detection of IED using UGVs and multi-sensor measuring systems with ground-penetrating radars (GPRs) and sets of metal, wire and non-linear conductor detectors.
The project is being implemented as part of a research and technical program of the European Defence Agency, aimed to improve the Member States’ ability to detect IEDs, titled ‘IED Detection’ (IEDDET).
