LOST-UAV project
Comprehensive detection and kinetic neutralisation system for Unmanned Aerial Platforms with automatic flight prediction integrated with an unmanned ground platform.
The aim of the project is to develop a comprehensive detection and kinetic neutralisation system for unmanned aerial platforms (UAVs) with automatic flight prediction integrated with an unmanned land-based platform. The system will enable detection of UAVs, jamming their radio communication (for example, with their operators), and kinetic neutralisation.
The system will be equipped with a radar-based drone detection system, drone radio communication jamming system and a UAV kinetic neutralisation system. The LOST-UAV will be integrated on a highly mobile high-speed hybrid unmanned ground platform (UGV) PIAP HUNTeR. Neutralisation of the UAV will be carried out using an effector in the form of an automatic grenade launcher equipped with a module that allows the use of programmable ammunition.
