Project purposes: Design and launch of manufacture of cut-off gate valves of plate design
The project consisted of 15 tests of which 4 were assigned to PIAP.

Work done by PIAP:

• Determination of requirements and structural/technology guidelines for the design of the plate gate valves;
• Analysis of lifetime and materials plus selection of measuring probes or inspection cameras and design of insertion of these instruments;
• Software for analysis of various plate gate valve designs;
• Tests and analyses of plate-design cut-off fittings for safety and compliance with EU standards.
