Autonomy, robotics, ethics and law: Selected ethical and legal aspects of autonomy of robots
The subject of the ‘AUREA’ project was autonomy of robots analysed in the context of anthropomorphisation of robots, taking account of Polish and European legal context of functioning of autonomous robots.
The goal of the ‘AUREA’ project was to analyse the concept of autonomy of robots in the context of anthropomorphisation of robots, taking account of Polish and European legal context of functioning of autonomous robots. As a result, the project defined a new approach to the nomenclature, which enables the highlighting of differences between humans and anthropomorphized (human-like) robots. This approach translates into a new conceptual framework for robots autonomous and makes it possible to present legal regulations and the direction of legislative work on enactment of a robotic law.
