Ball valve

A shut-off ball valve, composed of a body having coaxial openings, inlet and outlet, and a shut-off ball mounted on an axis perpendicular to the axis of the openings, is characterised in that the shut-off ball (2) has inside, symmetrical to the axis of rotation of the shut-off ball (2), sliding pistons (3), whose outer surfaces are sections of the surface of the cut-off sphere (2), between which there is a bolt (4) with a shape in cross-section perpendicular to the axis of rotation other than circular and with an axis of rotation coaxial with the axis of rotation of the cut-off sphere (2), while in the pistons (3), on the side of the transom (4), there are spring elements (6) symmetrically to their axis of travel.
