Łukasiewicz - PIAP mobile robots in new guises at the MSPO

From 3 to 6 September 2024, the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Province will host the annual International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO). The 32nd edition, like the previous ones, will feature Łukasiewicz – PIAP and its mobile robotics inventions.

Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP) has 25 years of track record in developing robotic solutions for security and working with Polish companies in the industry. Mobile robots developed at the institute are already in operation in 28 countries around the world, apart from a number of robots that already support the Polish Armed Forces.

At this year’s MSPO exhibition staged at the Kielce Trade Fair, Łukasiewicz – PIAP’s team will present state-of-the-art Polish mobile robotics integrated with solutions from AREX (WB Group) and the Polish Armaments Group. The stand will showcase the latest version of the PIAP HUNTeR combat robot that has been additionally equipped with lidars and stereovision cameras to enhance the operator’s situational awareness. The robot’s armament is the ZMU-03 AREX remote-controlled module.

The PIAP IBIS transport and medical evacuation robot will also have its premiere at the fair. A heavy-duty basket with a stretcher attachment is fitted in place of the standard manipulator. Panels of the MOLLE system are mounted on the sides of the basket to allow installation of various equipment (e.g. a medical backpack). The unit has been adapted to transport all kinds of equipment and supplies, such as backsacks, ammunition or hand-held single-shot anti-tank launchers. The robot has also been envisaged to support evacuation of the wounded using the fast, easy and stable TALON II 90C stretcher.

Come and meet us at stand D-57!
