Resolution of the anniversary round of the ‘Young Innovators’ contest
Results of the ‘Young Innovators’ contest for best dissertations (for doctor’s, master’s and engineer’s diplomas) in automatics, robotics and measurements were announced on March 21, 2018, during the ‘AUTOMATION 2018’ research conference held in Warsaw. The Industrial Institute for Automatics and Measurements (PIAP) hosted the contest that celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
All the hitherto rounds of the contest attracted much interest from all major Polish academies whose graduates offered their best works.
The contest is held under sponsorship of the Automatics and Robotics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Metrology Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Polish Society for Measurement, Automation and Robotics ‘POLSPAR’, Polish Business Board for Advanced Technologies and the ‘Measurements. Automatics. Robotics’ quarterly.
The works are evaluated by an independent commission composed of outstanding experts in automatics, robotics and measurements. The commission is chaired by Prof. Eng. Janusz Kacprzyk, Sc.D., a corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and an IEEE Fellow.
The following are the results of the contest. Winners were handed over prizes and awards.
