The PIAP Institute partners the ‘Process Automation’ conference
Digitisation of the process industry, standards and perspectives of process automatics, integrated design and engineering and management of smart field instruments prevailed among the subjects of the discussion.
The 11th round of the event took place in Kraków on September 7 and 8, 2017. The presentations and face-to-face discussions concerned digitisation of the process industry, standards and perspectives of process automatics, integrated design and engineering in the process industry, modelling of process systems and management of smart field instruments. The conference was attended by representatives of companies with highest levels of production automation, technology vendors and integrators of automatics. Also, the participants discussed benefits and challenges related to implementation of the concept of Industry 4.0, including challenges to education, building of competitive advantage at the level of production control systems, and alleviation of risks from cyber attacks. The Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP) was represented by Ms Joanna Kulik and Mr Marcin Pilip from the Marketing Department.
